A bit late

Hi Folks,

 We have 8 days to go to fund the Farmer | Veteran Project and a long way to go. This is an honest appeal, I, we, need your help. We will make this film either way, either out of pocket or with a little help from you, but your support would help this project be all it should be. Please take a few minutes to watch the trailer.

 I know things are tight for many of us these days, so if you cannot give, please spread the word, repost, reblog, retweet, just talk about it. Talk about the 1.8 million veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan that need attention from all of us, talk about the 50% of all farmers who will retire in the next decade, leaving us all to figure out another way to eat healthy food. And talk about the connection between a dedicated, young and strong workforce that could fill this gap if we can all take a minute and listen to the stories I feel they want to tell. These folks have been ignored long enough and this is just one way to help all our veterans get back to where they want to be. 

Veterans transitioning into farming is certainly not a solution to all that lies ahead for these men and women, but it is an idea that has helped many so far and needs more attention.
